Overview of Domestic Marine Valve Technology LevelsSince the founding of New China, China's marine valve industry has undergone remarkable development, evolving from nothing to a formidable presence. Through the efforts of generations, China's marine valvetechnology has significantly improved, not only meeting the basic needs of the domestic shipbuilding industry but also gradually shining on the international market. I. Current State of Technological Development To date, China has promulgated a series of national standards for marine valves, totaling 171 items, including national recommended standards, shipbuilding industry standards, and shipbuilding foreign trade standards. These standards cover various piping systems of various ships and provide strong support for the research, production, and application of marine valves. In terms of product types, China's marine valve industry has formed a relatively complete system, including globe valves, check valves, gate valves, ball valves, butterfly valves, and more, suitable for a wide range of media such as freshwater, seawater, air, steam, fuel oil, and lubricating oil. In particular, with the recent trend towards intelligence and high technology in the shipbuilding industry, China's marine valve industry is actively developing intelligent electronically controlled high-performance marine valves to meet the demands of high-end applications. II. Technological Innovation and Breakthroughs China's marine valve industry has achieved remarkable results in technological innovation. Take intelligent electronically controlled marine valves as an example. This technology utilizes built-in filters to filter water and prevent clogging, while also featuring remote control capabilities and low-temperature tolerance, significantly extending service life. Additionally, some leading domestic enterprises have successfully developed intelligent electronically controlled marine valves with core technologies, filling domestic gaps and gaining wide international recognition. III. Challenges and Deficiencies While China's marine valve technology has made significant progress, it still faces challenges and deficiencies. Firstly, although there are numerous domestic marine valve manufacturers, the overall technological content is low, and international competitiveness is poor, with most critical valves still relying on imports. Secondly, some valve products have issues such as poor internal quality, unstable parameters, and low regulation accuracy, affecting overall product performance and service life. Additionally, there are gaps in quality management that need to be addressed. IV. Future Development Trends Looking ahead, China's marine valve industry will continue to increase research and development investment, enhance technological capabilities, and strengthen cooperation and exchanges with the international market. With the global energy structure transformation and shipbuilding industry progress, the market for intelligent electronically controlled high-performance marine valves will usher in broader development prospects. Domestic enterprises should seize the opportunity, continue to innovate and break through, and push China's marine valve industry towards higher levels. |
